NTPC Green Energy Ltd (NGEL), a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Limited, has announced the commencement of commercial operations for a 25 MW solar power capacity in Bhuj, Gujarat, effective September 3, 2025. This addition brings NGEL's total installed capacity to 7,272.575 MW. The project is part of a larger 150 MW solar initiative developed by Ayana Renewable Power Four Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of Ayana Renewable Power Pvt Ltd, which is a joint venture between ONGC and NTPC Green Energy Pvt Ltd.
